Cutting & Charcuterie Board Care Instructions
Owning a beautifully handmade, hardwood board is special! And all wood boards require a bit of love.
Daily Care
Scrape away any food scraps.
Hand wash with warm water and soap. Do not submerge in water and never put it in the dishwasher because it will destroy your board!
Dry the board immediately and set on edge to air dry.
Monthly
Once a month apply a small amount of oil to a clean, dry board. Rub the oil in using a soft cloth, paper towel or your hand and be sure to cover all surfaces.
Let rest for about an hour and then wipe away excess oil with a paper towel or clean, cotton cloth.
You can use any food safe mineral oil, linseed oil, or beeswax.
Proper care will ensure your wooden board lasts for many years!
